Careful steps brought the female over the fields that she was so unaccustomed to traveling, eyes never rose from the ground as she moved about the snow. While she had grown tired of it what seemed so rapidly the year before, this time she met with a readiness. It was acceptable to see it, so white and pure while the world was not. It was reassuring that innocence could be kept, could be preserved. Perhaps it was all an illusion, it was very likely, but she continued on anyway with thoughts of a happier tomorrow. It was the least she could do, when all the innocence that had been offered to her had been swept away on a tide of tears she had never thought capable of being produced for a wolf that had been a stranger in such a short time.
The salt and pepper wolf moved herself with a hint of lady like grace, carrying herself in the way that Dayna Saucier would have approved. She thought about the mother she loved, but had ultimately been crippled by. The wolf was a beauty to behold, a wonder above wonders... But she had been broken, she had been cruel. Thinking about her mother and the turmoil she must have brought to a new land by now caused the female to shudder. It caused her to miss her delusions, that she had been alone for so long. Yet, it had all been such lies. She had never been alone, never on purpose, she had been isolated, barred from the ones who may have loved her. If only given a chance.
Shaking her head, Encore simply allowed her head to drop and look at the snow. It brought up memories, and she tried to shuffle them down. Her heart ached though, an unfathomable amount. Thinking about all this snow made her toss up memories. It was in the snow that she played her first ever... game. It was still such a hard thought for her to grasp, but she tried. Still, as her eyes looked up and out over the open plains, she eventually just huffed. That was enough moping, it was becoming rather unnecessary. This place is too empty. Soft observation laced the air, turning her golden brown eyes to take in the openness of it all... So empty.
She needed to find a place again, someone to keep up with. Someone that steadied her. It was such a driving thought, a goal that was not coming to pass. She had lost the one that she had assumed, for a time, would be the answer to her needs. It was startling to realize how swiftly the world was stolen from underneath such sure footed paws. What was a girl to do? The female allowed herself to pause in the open, just turning her head skywards.
Wasn't it funny? The female mused as the snow clouds lazily parted, revealing the sun behind them. It shined down on the female, who attempted to skirt away from it. No matter how one felt, the weather never seemed to care. It was predictable and yet as moody as any bear, which was troubling enough on its own. It just was, not bowing to anyone's directions and that was the way it seemed to want to stay.
Speak your mind. Think your own way.
